ABOUT ME

My inspiration lies in the beauty in diversity that each person offers. Every individual has a story to tell, and I yearn to hear them all, if not in words, then in photographs. I think photographs have the ability to present true authenticity. The fact that a single portrait can elicit such raw emotions makes me love it even more.

I fell in love with digital portraits after my freshman year of high school. I began making my way to Philadelphia nearly every weekend, photographing person after person, and sometimes being privileged enough to indulge in conversation along the way. I brought my camera to every march, protest, and demonstration in which I involved myself.

To me, photography is an outlet to express my passions: social justice, politics, and different cultures.

To this day, my camera has stayed attached to my hip, through Philadelphia, Cuba, Tanzania, and it will through all of my future endeavors. Where there is life, there is my Canon.
